He didn’t look like a monkey anymore, he looked like pain itself. On the harsh streets of Gulabi Bagh, a helpless life was silently rotting away in plain sight. His body had lost all its fur, replaced by angry red, wrinkled skin covered in deep wounds. Every inch of him screamed suffering. People saw him, recorded videos, shared them across social media- but no one stopped and stepped forward. For nearly three years, this innocent monkey lived like this- itching, bleeding, and battling a disease so severe that even looking at him could break your heart. Hunger, infections, and constant pain had become his only reality.

But where the world looked away, one person chose to act. Pawan Sharma from Anjani Animal Foundation couldn’t ignore his suffering. The moment he saw those viral videos, he knew he had to step in.
