So when you ask why I do what I do, my answer is simple: I do it because I know what it feels like to be forgotten, to have nothing, and to be invisible. It breaks my heart to see others living the same life I once lived.”

These are the powerful words of Hamraj Joshi, a man who has dedicated his life to saving the lives of the homeless and giving them a chance at hope. 

For so many homeless people, life is a struggle. They lose everything when they’re ignored and discarded by society. But thanks to Hamraj, they no longer have to face this alone. He has made it his mission to ensure no one is left behind, and that every person who is struggling gets the care they desperately need.

Hamraj walks the streets, to find those who are injured, sick, or living in unimaginable conditions. He takes them in his own made ambulance, rushing them to the nearest hospital, ensuring they get the urgent medical care they deserve.

Many homeless people are neglected simply because they don’t look presentable, but Hamraj doesn’t see them as any less deserving of love and care. He washes them, gives them a proper bath, and restores their dignity, reminding them that they matter.

For the past 15-20 years, Hamraj has been giving everything he has to help these forgotten souls. But his current ambulance is small and inadequate for the amount of people he needs to help.

Now, Hamraj has a dream: to raise enough money to build a bigger, better ambulance that will allow him to help even more people. His ultimate goal is to open a safe haven, a home for those who have no place to go, a place where they will feel valued, cared for, and loved.
