Crucial Summer Took Away Their Lives, Let’s Give Them A Respectful Goodbye!

“You may have heard my story, but very few truly know the everyday struggles I quietly endure behind the scenes.

For those who don’t know me yet, my name is Pooja Sharma. I have taken an oath to stand beside those who have no one left. I help give unclaimed and unidentified souls a dignified farewell, one filled with prayers, respect, and humanity.

Each time I close my eyes to pray for them, I hope that when they are born again into this world, it will be into lives full of love, dignity, and happiness, the very things they may have been denied in this one.

This journey has been anything but easy. I have been doing this sacred work for years now, but lately, the weight has grown heavier than ever before. Earlier, some people came forward to help, but today, with rising hardships, the challenges have multiplied, and the helping hands have grown fewer.

This summer has been especially heartbreaking. The scorching heat has been merciless, and I have witnessed more souls leave this world, many of them homeless, many abandoned victims of heatstroke, illness, and neglect. Their lives ended not with comfort or care, but often alone, under the open sky.

Every day, the number of those needing help increases. Every day, the need for resources becomes more urgent. Without a proper backup, without sufficient funds, it is becoming increasingly difficult for me to continue providing these souls the dignity they deserve in their final moments.

I need support to buy the necessary materials for performing the final rites, for transportation, for ensuring the last rituals are done with proper care, where I can prepare and honour these souls before their final journey.

Today, I am reaching out with humility, with hope, and with faith. If this mission touches your heart, I ask you to please come forward. Every contribution, no matter how small, becomes a part of their final prayer. It becomes a part of the love we send with them as they leave this world.
