Hundreds Of Animals Are Suffering In Silence, Donate To Help Them Survive

“I believe there is no joy on this earth that is felt more than seeing a helpless, innocent animal in pain be rescued and get back to being healthy and happy again…”  These words, spoken by Bijendra Saini, also known as “Rakshak” (meaning “The Protector”), reflect his deep passion and commitment to animal welfare. Bijendra comes from a well-educated, privileged background, where he had all the opportunities to pursue a lucrative career, achieve success, and settle into a comfortable life. However, that is not his story.

Instead of choosing a traditional path, Bijendra decided to walk away from the life that many would envy. He was deeply moved by the suffering of animals on the streets—animals that were hit by vehicles, injured, and left to die alone.  His heart could not bear the thought of innocent creatures in pain, and he felt an overwhelming responsibility to do something about it. Bijendra, driven by compassion, dedicated his life to rescuing these vulnerable animals, ensuring they got another chance at life.

Despite the immense challenges he faced, Bijendra remained determined. His mission is simple but powerful: to rescue more and more animals, provide them with medical care, nourishment, and love, and return them to a life where they can thrive. However, this noble endeavor has not come without its struggles. Today, Bijendra is facing immense challenges as he single-handedly runs his foundation, pouring every ounce of his energy, time, and resources into his mission.

From the moment an animal is in his care, Bijendra takes full responsibility. He often drives out to rescue animals on his bike, struggling to transport the injured creatures to safety.  There are moments of heartache when, despite his best efforts, he loses animals during the rescue process simply because he does not have the proper vehicle or equipment to safely carry them to the clinic. An ambulance, with the necessary medical supplies and space, is something that Bijendra urgently needs to continue his work effectively.
