She Left Her Government Job To Save Voiceless Lives, Help Nidhi Build A Free Hospital For Them

“I had a chance to choose between my career or do this. One thing that struck me was, I would never be content with my career. The amount of satisfaction that I got after rescuing a monkey gave me immense joy and peace and that I can never compare with anything else” 

These were the words from Nidhi, a young dynamic woman who has put her life into rescuing the voiceless beings. Beings that are also considered as Gods. Monkeys. She says the worst thing that can happen to an animal is that they will never be able to describe the pain that they go through. 

Unlike human beings who can fight, argue and sometimes even take action against someone they dislike, animals unfortunately have a curse and that is they cannot do much to protect themselves from the cruelty that surrounds them. 

After being burnt by probably trying to find a tree but hanging against the wires, this female monkey who was pregnant not only burnt herself terribly but also lost her only child in the womb. Imagine the amount of sadness she might have gone through. 

Not just that but these monkeys are often neglected, hit by a vehicle and left alone to die and suffer on the streets, some more often than not are terribly handled. But where there is evil, there is also good that happens. And that good is none other than Nidhi Tiwari the founder of Jeev Ashray. 

By the name itself Jeev Ashray means “Haven for Living Beings” or “Sanctuary for Life.” Nidhi, by herself goes out of her way and by her own hands carries these injured monkeys and gets them to safety providing them with a safe haven. 

A haven that helps them with medical requirements at the same time making sure they have a good amount of food, water and a better shelter. Nidhi has been doing this for years and today she has almost 150 rescued monkeys whom she calls her own children. 

Single handedly doing this is definitely not easy. There are days where she wished she could give them a better place, a place that is bigger, and more over a place that provides and looks into their well being in a much larger and better way. Today Nidhi is in need of money as she desires to build a better hospital, a hospital that doesn’t have any restrictions on time or money. She wants to build this hospital so that the monkeys can get cured faster and easily and she wouldn’t have to worry about their fees.
