“It was the first time I froze seeing an injured animal. This cow we rescued had lost most of its mouth… Would it survive? Could it survive through so much pain?”
That moment changed everything for Alisha. A deep silence followed—not around her, but within her. Something had broken. Something that couldn’t be fixed with just hope or even healing.
She had seen pain before. She had rescued countless animals. But this one this soul whose mouth was torn apart, whose eyes still pleaded gently for help despite the agony this one broke her.

How could such a voiceless, harmless creature suffer so much?
Alisha is the sole founder of Jeev Ashray Foundation, a sanctuary she built with nothing but sheer grit, compassion, and a fire in her heart to protect those who cannot protect themselves.
For years now, Jeev Ashray has been a place of refuge for animals that the world often turns its back on the injured, the abandoned, the brutalized. From cows and dogs to birds and monkeys, every being that enters this shelter is treated with dignity, love, and care.
But even love, sometimes, needs wheels.

Alisha’s biggest challenge is not the lack of love. It’s logistics. She doesn’t have an ambulance.
Every time she gets a call about an animal in distress, she is faced with the harsh reality that she might not be able to reach in time. Public transport doesn’t allow injured animals. Private vehicles aren’t always available. She often rushes on foot or begs strangers for help.

And the thoughts never stop chasing her: “If we had our own ambulance, we could have reached faster…” “Maybe that little pup would have made it…” “Maybe that cow wouldn’t have bled to death waiting…”
She carries these questions like invisible scars—reminders of all the lives she couldn’t save, simply because she lacked the means. But Alisha keeps going. Despite everything, she keeps going. Because to her, every life matters. Because to her, they’re not “just animals” they are souls.

Because to her, pain should never go unnoticed, especially the pain that comes from silence. She’s a hero in every sense of the word. But even heroes need a little help sometimes. A little hope. A little push from people who believe, like she does, that no life should suffer alone.
Today, Alisha is reaching out not for herself, but for the animals. She dreams of getting her own rescue ambulance. She dreams of expanding the sanctuary. She dreams of warm blankets in winter, full bellies in summer, and a shelter that always has space for one more.

Your donation no matter how big or small could help make that dream a reality.
- It could help buy an ambulance.
- It could fund surgeries and medical care.
- It could feed a hungry calf.
- It could save a life.
You have no idea what your “little” could do in these animals’ lives.

If you’ve ever looked into an animal’s eyes and felt that unspoken connection, you know what’s at stake. If you’ve ever wanted to do something for the voiceless, this is your chance.
Be the stranger that showed up. Be the one who helped her reach that one animal on time. Be the reason a life was saved today.
