“They can’t ask for help. They don’t scream for mercy. But they feel every bit of pain… And someone needs to stand up for them.” says the founder of Animals and Bird Welfare, Jaspal Singh.
For the past seven years, in dusty lanes, quiet corners, and abandoned streets, two hearts have been beating not for applause, but for the voiceless.

Jaspal Singh and Sahajpreet Kaur, the founders of the Animals and Bird Welfare Foundation, have rescued and cared for over 200 to 300 Animals and birds souls that were discarded, wounded, starving, and often left to suffer.
But today…The very people who have been saving lives are now helpless themselves. Sadly, this shelter that they have all their rescinded Animals in, isn’t permanent. They lack even the basic medical equipment to treat critical injuries.

And every single day, they are forced to make the most painful decision of all: To turn away from a life that needs saving because they just don’t have the resources.
“We didn’t start this journey with funds. We started it with pain. The pain of watching Animals suffer in silence… and the promise that we wouldn’t look away like the rest of the world,” says Sahajpreet, holding back tears.

One incident still haunts them. A mule, used and abused for heavy labor, carrying load after load of iron, until she couldn’t take it anymore. She collapsed, bruised, broken, unconscious on a hot street, as people just walked by. Her drunken owner still didn’t spare her… kept hitting her with the belt.
Not one person stopped. Not one hand reached out. Except for two Jaspal and Sahajpreet’s. They rushed her to safety. And named her Dhanno, “barrier of good tidings” And they didn’t leave her side for weeks.

“We didn’t know if she’d make it. Her eyes had given up. But we didn’t,” says Jaspal softly. Today, Dhanno is alive. She’s healed. She plays. She walks without pain. And she knows love. She’s one of the lucky ones.
But there are so many others, just like her, still waiting for help that may never come. And now, with no land of their own, no structured medical care, and rising rescue calls, this foundation is at breaking point.
“There are nights we cry ourselves to sleep,” Sahajpreet admits. “Not for ourselves… but for the ones we couldn’t reach in time.”

Every bird with a broken wing, every dog left to die after an accident, every cow, cat, monkey, or mule suffering silently in some alley… They don’t need miracles. They just need us. They need you.
Your donation won’t just buy medicine or food. It will buy time for injured animals. It will buy peace for someone who has only ever known pain. It will build a shelter where no one gets turned away.

“We’re not asking for much. We’re asking for a chance. A chance to do what we’ve always done and that is to save innocent, hurting lives.”
Your compassion is the only hope for them. This isn’t just charity. It’s humanity. It’s choosing love over indifference. It’s standing up for those who can’t stand on their own.
