Story Of An Organization That Sees The $€x Worker’s Children As CHILDREN

Behind every woman, there is a story. Behind every child, there is a story too. The sad reality is that some children are never even seen as children.These are the children of women forced into body-selling. Born into circumstances they never chose, they are often denied love, dignity, and even the basic right to a childhood. Society does not look at them with innocence- it looks at them with judgment. And that is where their suffering begins.

Under Rev. Haribhau Waghmode Patil Pratishthan, only the children of commercial sex workers are brought in, children who are most vulnerable and in urgent need of protection.

Every woman who enters this profession carries her own story of helplessness, poverty, or forceful circumstances. But no mother ever wishes for her child to live the same life she had to endure. A mother may suffer silently, but her deepest desire is always to protect her child from that pain.

In some of the most heartbreaking situations, mothers are pushed to extreme desperation. They are forced to take unimaginable steps just to save their children from a future like theirs. This is the level of fear and helplessness they live with every single day.

This organization was built with one clear purpose: to ensure that these children grow just like any other child- playing, studying, and dreaming freely.

Here, they are treated with respect and dignity, given proper food and care, allowed to live like normal children and surrounded by a safe and nurturing environment. Most importantly, they are seen as what they truly are- Children, not something to be ignored, judged, or thrown away by society. They laugh, learn, and slowly begin to heal from a life they never deserved. But to keep this safe space alive, support is urgently needed.

There are still many children who need protection, care, and a chance at a better life. Running this organization requires continuous funds for food, shelter, education, and daily needs.
