“My child has never even stepped on the ground… not once,” sobs Deepa, Aman’s mother. “He’s 12… but he lies on the bed like a newborn. Silent. Helpless. Just staring at the ceiling.”
Aman was only 3 months old when his head began to swell. Doctors said it was hydrocephalus, a condition where excess fluid builds up in the brain. Since that day, his life has been a slow, painful pause. He cannot walk. He cannot speak. He cannot play like other children.

For 12 long years, Aman has been trapped inside his own body unable to say “Ma,” unable to stand, unable to feel the earth beneath his feet. His head has grown dangerously large, and doctors warn that any delay now could lead to permanent brain damage… or worse.
His mother wipes her tears as she holds his fragile hands. “Sometimes I wonder if he even knows what life is outside this room. He has never chased a butterfly… never run after a ball… never even walked.”

His father, Deviram, is a daily-wage labourer in Bhopal. He earns ₹300 a day barely enough to feed his family, let alone save his child. Yet, they’ve already spent over ₹2.5 lakhs on tests and scans by begging, borrowing, and selling everything they could. But the surgery hasn’t been done yet.
Now, doctors at Pulse Hospital, Indore, say there is hope but it will cost ₹10 lakhs. For this family, it’s a number beyond their dreams.

This isn’t just about treatment. This is about a child finally getting a chance to live. Aman doesn’t dream of toys or chocolate. He dreams of sitting up on his own. Of saying “Ma.” Of one day standing on the ground for the very first time.
“Please,” his mother whispers, “don’t let my son live and die on a bed. He deserves to feel life… even if just for a little while.”
Let’s come together. Let’s give Aman that chance.
