Project:
He didn’t look like a monkey anymore, he looked like pain itself. On the harsh streets of Gulabi Bagh, a helpless life was silently rotting away in plain sight. His body had lost all its fur, replaced by angry red, wrinkled skin covered in deep wounds. Every inch of him screamed suffering. People saw him, recorded videos, shared them across social media- but no one stopped and stepped forward. Because sometimes, the reality is so disturbing that people choose to scroll past instead of act.
For nearly three years, this innocent monkey lived like this- itching, bleeding, and battling a disease so severe that even looking at him could break your heart. Hunger, infections, and constant pain had become his only reality.
But where the world looked away, one person chose to act. Pawan Sharma from Anjani Animal Foundation couldn’t ignore his suffering. The moment he saw those viral videos, he knew he had to step in. Rescuing him wasn’t easy, the monkey was weak, scared, and in unbearable pain but today, he is finally under care, finally getting the treatment he so desperately needed.
And the truth is, he is not alone. Across Delhi, Karnal, and other parts of Haryana, there are countless monkeys suffering from similar conditions. Many fall victim to electric shocks from open wires, while others develop severe skin diseases due to being fed unhealthy, sugary human food. What starts as a small issue soon turns into a life-threatening condition just like his.
At Anjani Animal Foundation, every such case is taken in, treated with care, and given a second chance at life. But behind every rescue is a cost- medicines, shelter, surgeries, and constant care. And the reality is simple: without support, these rescues cannot continue.
Today, this little life is fighting to survive. But he cannot do it alone. He needs you. Your donation can help provide his treatment, his recovery, and his chance to live a life free from pain. Your kindness can turn his suffering into hope.
Because sometimes, all it takes is one decision to not scroll past, but to stop, care, and act.
