Darjeeling Landslides Are Getting Worse! More Than 20 People Have Died…

In the last few days, Darjeeling, the serene hill station once known for its breathtaking views and tea gardens, has turned into a scene of devastation.

Relentless rains for over 12 hours have triggered massive landslides, sweeping away homes, roads, and bridges. The mountains themselves seemed to crumble, leaving behind broken lives, shattered dreams, and a silence heavy with loss.

Entire villages have been cut off. Roads that once connected communities now lie buried under mud and debris. Families have lost everything, their homes, their belongings, their livestock, and many have lost loved ones. As rescue teams struggle to reach the most remote areas, time is slipping away. Every hour counts.

True Hope Foundation has stepped forward to bring light amid the darkness. Our volunteers are on the ground, helping rescue trapped villagers and ensuring that the displaced and injured receive food, clean water, and medical care. We are working tirelessly, carrying relief supplies across landslide-damaged paths and reaching people who have not eaten or received aid in days.
