Karimul Haq, widely known as “Ambulance Dada,” is a true hero who has dedicated his life to saving others after a personal tragedy. Using his creativity and limited resources, he attached a side trolley to his motorbike, essentially creating a mobile ambulance. This innovative approach allowed him to transport patients safely, minimizing the risk of further injury during the ride.

Over the years, Karimul’s bike ambulance became a lifeline for his village and surrounding areas. He has transported more than 7,000 people to the hospital, often free of cost, saving countless lives along the way. His selfless dedication earned him the nickname “Ambulance Dada,” a term of endearment and respect from those whose lives he has touched. His work caught national attention, and in 2017, Karimul Haq was awarded the prestigious Padma Shri, one of India’s highest civilian honors, for his extraordinary contribution to society.

However, despite the recognition, Karimul’s mission to provide healthcare to the poor continues. Even with his tireless efforts, the journey to the hospital remains a long and arduous one. The distance of 40 kilometers means that many lives are still at risk due to the delayed access to medical care. To address this, Karimul has embarked on a new project – building a hospital in his village. The hospital will provide immediate medical attention to the people in his area, dramatically reducing the loss of life due to delayed treatment.

The hospital is currently under construction, but progress has been slow due to a lack of funds. Karimul Haq is now reaching out to the public for support.
