Project:

Water rose, relentless and unfeeling, swallowing fields, homes, dreams. In Punjab, life as known has been upended by the worst floods in decades!
Villages stand submerged, roads have vanished under murky currents, and the sun shines on rooftops that tremble with memories of better times.

The house that still echoes the daughter’s wedding laughter, dance, promises, now lies half-under water, its walls soaked, its floorboards soggy. The bridal smile in old family photos, the music that was once loud and certain they are whispers now, drowned by the rising floodwaters.
And the son’s entire education future, once paved with pencils, books, and ambition that future drifts in boxes washed away, in his uniform torn, in school corridors closed by unsafe walls.

These floods have ripped through more than land; they’ve torn at hearts. The hands that have built these houses, the father’s strong arms, the mother’s careful touch, are now all shattered.
The hands that stitched dresses, tilled farm soil, fetched water, broken in spirit and in bone. Livelihoods have been stripped away: farmland under thousands of acres submerged, crops destroyed, cattle lost.

In district after district, villages have gone by. . Families huddle in relief camps, clutching whatever they could rescue photographs, ration packets, perhaps a child’s toy.
Many have lost both home and hope at once. Families stare at water lines across walls, waiting for the waters to recede, to see what scraps remain.
Children’s laughter is missing. Schools are closed; desks empty. The son who dreamed of chalk and a teacher’s praise now sits by candlelight, cradling uncertainty. And the daughter whose wedding was supposed to bring joy, bring new beginnings, she, too, fears that this catastrophe has stolen what was promised. The future feels suspended, heavy with loss.

Yet amid the ruin, there is courage. Neighbours share blankets, strangers paddle in rescue boats. Relief camps try to stitch together safety: food, clean water, medical aid. But relief alone is not enough. These families need more than survival; they need a chance to rebuild.
That is why True Hope Foundation is trying its very best to reach out in every possible way, collecting funds, resources, and urgent support. Their mission is clear: to give back dignity, safety, and shelter to the people strangled in the Punjab floods. But they cannot do it alone.

This is where you come in. Your donation, no matter how small, can help rebuild a roof that shelters a mother, walls that protect a child, a floor where a family can once again sit together in peace.
Please donate as much as you can, so that those who have lost everything may find their way back to a better home, a safer tomorrow, and a life where laughter echoes once again.
When the waters finally recede, Punjab will measure its losses. But with your help, it can also measure its strength, its resilience, and the compassion of people like you who stood by them in their darkest hour!
