Project:
If before or on Akshaya Tritiya, your eyes have fallen upon the pain, silence, and darkness of these blind girls, do not think of it as a coincidence.
Perhaps this is Lord Vishnu’s way of choosing you for a sacred deed today.
Many people celebrate this day by buying gold, praying for prosperity, and wishing for abundance. But the true essence of Akshaya Tritiya goes much deeper. It is believed that any good deed, daan, or act of compassion done on this day never diminishes and remains forever written in your karma. The blessings earned today are said to multiply, bringing peace, prosperity, and divine grace into one’s life.
So before thinking of wealth only as something we keep, ask yourself-
What if true Akshaya is the blessing we create in someone else’s life? Today, there are young girls still trying to find light in a world they cannot see.
For blind girls, darkness is not merely the absence of sight- it is the daily struggle of navigating a world full of obstacles, fear, and dependency. Yet even in this darkness, they hold dreams full of color, courage, and hope.
At Matoshree Ambubai School for Blind Girls, these girls are nurtured with education, safety, emotional support, and dignity. Here, they are taught not just how to study, but how to live with confidence, self-respect, and independence. This school gives them the light of knowledge, the warmth of care, and the courage to dream beyond their limitations.
But today, this mission needs your help. The school is facing a shortage of funds for education materials, Braille resources, hostel support, food, and essential care. Without support, the very space that gives these girls hope may struggle to continue.
This Akshaya Tritiya, your donation can become the light they cannot see but will carry in their lives forever. Help them continue their education, rebuild their confidence, and move closer to the dreams they deserve.
The blessings of gold may stay in your locker, but the blessing of changing a girl’s life stays in your karma forever.
Donate this Akshaya Tritiya and let your kindness become truly Akshaya– a good deed that never ends.
